3 service dogs escape from training program

at some point, we could all use a break

DENVER — A Loveland service dog training facility is asking for the public’s help in finding three dogs that ran away Sunday morning.

The dogs were being trained by HA=LO or Helpful Animals=Limitless Opportunities, a ministry and outreach community effort of First United Methodist Church in Loveland at 533 N. Grant Avenue.

According to HA=LO Co-Director of Administration Cathryn Bray, the dogs went missing around 8:30 a.m. when they were released from a car and “for some reason all three bolted at a high rate.”

A staff member chased the dogs but lost them over the hogback.

The dogs were spotted Monday around 10 a.m., again at 11:30 a.m. and again at noon, Bray said.

“They all appear to be keeping the pack together and uninjured,” she said.
